2-3 lb beef roast
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/4 cup apple juice
2 cloves garlic minced
1. Mix together your salt and peppers in a small bowl, rub mixture all over your roast and place in a resealable bag.
2. Put your remaining ingredients in a bowl, stir until well combined and pour into the bag with your roast.
3. Place your roast in your fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight (flip the bag a few times during the marinating)
4. Put the roast and marinade in your crock pot, cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours and serve with cooking juices.
