Ingredients

1 cup Sugar
1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Ground All-Spice
1/4 tsp Salt
12 cup Thin Sliced Apples
4 Tbsp Butter
Frozen or Homemade Pie Crust

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 370 degrees.
2. Mix together in a large bowl Flour, Sugar, Cinnamon, All-Spice and Salt.
3. Place the bottom layer of crust into a pie pan.
4. Put a layer of apples 1 or 2 apples thick into the pan and sprinkle some the dry mixture you just mixed onto apples.
5. Put on another layer of apples and sprinkle the mixture. Do this until the pie pan is over-filled.
6. Put the 4 Tbsp of butter on the top in 4 different places.
7. Take the other half of the crust and put it on top of the apples and butter.
8. Crimp the edges of the crust and take a knife and pierce several holes onto the crust.
9. Sprinkle some sugar on top of the crust.
10. Put tinfoil along the edges of the crust and place into oven for 25 minutes with the tinfoil, then take it off and do another 25 minutes.
